The fastest way to get help is to email support@oakferry.com. Tell us your device, your iOS or Android version, and what you expected to happen. There is no ticket system and no bot — the mail reaches a person. Please do not send us your diary entries or other health information.
01What is Food Diary?
Food Diary is a diary for suspected food reactions: what you ate, what happened, and what you did. It can build a plain-text report to share with your clinician. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, or give medical advice. In an emergency, call your local emergency number; do not email us. Read the terms of use.
02Where did my diary go?
Your diary lives only on your device. There is no account and no server copy. Deleting the app erases it, and we cannot restore it. If a device backup included Food Diary, restoring that backup can bring your diary back.
03Will my diary be in a backup?
Food Diary has no cloud sync of its own. On an iPhone or iPad, an iCloud Backup or a backup to a computer may include your diary. On Android, Google’s device backup may include it. You can turn device backup off in your device’s settings.
04How do I share a report with my clinician?
Open the Safety tab and tap Prepare text report, then tap Share report text and choose where to send it in your device’s share sheet. The report leaves the app only when you do that.
05How do I delete an entry?
Open the entry and tap Delete entry. To remove the whole diary, delete the app. Copies in an existing device backup follow that backup’s rules.
06What does the emergency contact button do?
If you save an emergency contact in your profile, the emergency guidance shows a button that opens your phone’s dialer with that number. The app does not place the call or record it.
07Does Food Diary cost anything?
No. It is free, with no purchases, no advertising, and no account.
08Reporting something we should fix
Bug reports are welcome, and we read them. Tell us what you did, what happened, and what you expected; a screenshot helps, as long as it shows no health information. Food Diary has no crash reporting or analytics of any kind, by design, so we only learn about a problem if you tell us.
09Contact
