Food Diary is published by Oakferry Games Inc. It is a personal diary for food reactions you log. Food Diary is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
02Not a medical device
Food Diary is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. It does not diagnose food allergy, recommend treatment, or replace a clinician, allergy testing, or emergency care. Do not start an elimination diet or try a food challenge based on what you log. In an emergency, call your local emergency number and use any treatment your clinician has prescribed.
03Your data is on your device
Everything is on your iPhone, iPad, or Android phone. There is no account and no server copy. Lose your device, delete the app, or reset the phone, and you may lose your diary; we cannot restore it. Back up your device. Oakferry Games Inc. is not responsible for lost, inaccurate, or incomplete data.
04No purchases
Food Diary is free and has no in-app purchases.
05Acceptable use
You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app or its content except as permitted by law and the terms of the App Store or Google Play.
06Ownership and open-source software
The artwork, names, code, and content in Food Diary are original works of Oakferry Games Inc., apart from the open-source software described here. Food Diary is built with the open-source Skip framework (skip.dev). Its libraries are used under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, and the swift-jni and swift-android-native libraries under the Apache License 2.0. Their source code and full license texts are published at github.com/skiptools.
07Privacy
How Food Diary handles data is explained in the privacy policy.
08Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence where consumer law requires, and otherwise by the laws of Oakferry Games Inc.’s jurisdiction.
09Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above says when they last changed, and continuing to use Food Diary after a change means you accept it.
