01The service
Fairspell is published by Oakferry Games Inc. It scores forecast hours against rules you set and shows the resulting windows. Forecast data comes from Apple Weather and is subject to Apple’s terms.
02Forecasts are forecasts
Scores and windows are derived from third-party weather predictions and from rules you configure. They are guidance, not a guarantee. Weather changes; use your own judgement before acting on a window, especially for anything where conditions affect safety — ladder work, open water, exposed ground, long runs in heat. Oakferry accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of a forecast or a score.
03Buying Fairspell Full
Fairspell Full is an optional one-time purchase, not a subscription. It unlocks unlimited activities, the full ten-day horizon and a place per activity. There is nothing to cancel and nothing that renews: buy it once and it stays on the Apple Account that bought it, restorable on a new device with Restore Purchases. The free version keeps its two activities and three-day forecast indefinitely.
Apple is the seller of record. Apple takes the payment, sets the price in your local currency, and handles tax; Oakferry never sees your payment details. Refunds are requested from Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com and are decided by Apple under its own terms, which include the statutory rights of consumers in the UK, the EU and elsewhere.
04Acceptable use
Don’t reverse the app to extract Apple Weather data for redistribution, and don’t use the app in a way that violates Apple’s App Store terms. That’s the whole list.
05Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the app evolves; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Questions go to the address below.
