Lunachomp privacy policy

Lunachomp itself collects nothing about you. It is a one-tap orbital arcade game for Android, available on Google Play, with no accounts and no analytics. It treats every player as a child and offers an optional video ad and two optional purchases, all handled by Google. This page explains precisely what that means.

Effective October 6, 2026 Chomp star-bits. Dodge junk. Never stop orbiting.

Oakferry Games Inc. does not collect, store, sell, share, or transmit personal data from anyone who plays Lunachomp. This page is the game-specific policy; the studio-wide policy is at oakferry.com/privacy.

01What the game collects

Nothing. Lunachomp has no account, no login, no analytics and no server of ours that the app talks to, and it never asks for your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos.

Your best scores, coin balance, unlocked skins, daily streak and settings are stored on your own device and are excluded from device backups. They never leave it. Uninstalling the app erases them permanently, and because there is no account behind them we cannot restore them.

02Advertising

Lunachomp offers one kind of ad: an optional rewarded video a player can choose to watch to revive after losing. Nobody has to watch it: revives can also be bought with coins earned in the game, and buying Remove Ads or the Supporter Pack makes every revive free with no ad.

Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Because Lunachomp treats every player as a child, every ad request is tagged as child-directed (COPPA) and under the age of consent (GDPR), is non-personalized (no interest-based ads and no remarketing), is limited to G-rated content, and the app does not access the advertising ID.

To deliver an ad, Google receives limited technical information from the device, such as its IP address, device model and operating system, app version, and how the ad was interacted with. Google uses this to show the ad, cap how often ads appear, measure the ad and prevent fraud, and Google’s ad software includes its own diagnostics for operating ads. Oakferry Games Inc. receives none of it. You can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com.

Before any ad is requested the app uses Google’s consent tool (the User Messaging Platform). Because every player is treated as under the age of consent, it does not ask for consent to personalized ads, and none are shown. Where local rules require a way to review ad privacy choices, a Privacy Options button appears on the game’s main menu.

03Network access

The game itself makes no network requests: its content loads from inside the app, and its code contains no fetch, no XMLHttpRequest and no WebSocket. The only network traffic comes from Google’s own services: Google Play Billing, when the shop checks prices or you buy something; and Google AdMob and its consent tool, which load in the background so an ad is ready if a player chooses to watch one.

The app shows no permission prompts. It declares only permissions granted automatically that give no access to your personal data: internet and network-state access, Google Play Billing, and the keep-awake and background-work permissions that Google’s billing and ad libraries use to finish their tasks. Google’s ad software can also check whether the device has a web browser, phone, messaging or calendar app, so a tapped ad opens in the right place; it does not read anything from those apps.

04Purchases

Lunachomp offers two optional in-app purchases, both sold and processed entirely by Google Play: we never receive, see or store your payment information. The Supporter Pack unlocks exclusive cosmetic items and removes ads; Remove Ads makes the rewarded revive free with no ad. A simple question for grown-ups appears before any purchase, and before the app opens this page in a browser.

Whether you own a purchase is recorded by Google Play and read back from it; the app keeps only a local yes-or-no copy on your device and checks again whenever it opens, so a refund is reflected automatically. A purchase can be restored from the shop after reinstalling.

Everything else is earned by playing. Coins, the five coin-priced skins and the daily streak gift cannot be bought, and nothing sold for money affects how the game plays.

05Children

Lunachomp is played by children and adults and treats everyone as a child. It collects no personal information from anyone, and therefore none from children. There is no chat. Ads are always child-directed, non-personalized and G-rated, the advertising ID is never accessed, and a grown-up must answer a question before any purchase or before leaving the game for this policy.

06If you email us

When you write to us for support we necessarily receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use it only to reply, and keep correspondence no longer than we need to resolve the matter. We never add anyone to a mailing list and never pass correspondence to a third party.

07Your rights

Data protection law gives you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, and port personal data we hold about you. In our case there is generally nothing to exercise them against, because we hold nothing — the exception is any email you have sent us.

To make a request, email support@oakferry.com. If you are in the UK or the EU and are unsatisfied with our response, you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

08Changes to this policy

If the game ever changes what it does — for example by adding a feature that genuinely requires data — we will update this page and change the effective date above before that version ships. We will not begin collecting data quietly under an old policy.
