Foldyx collects nothing about you. Its one purchase is handled entirely by Apple.

Foldyx is a paper-folding number puzzle with no accounts, no analytics service and no advertising. It offers a single optional purchase, which Apple processes — we never see your payment details.

Effective 28 August 2026 Fold the paper. Hit the number.

Oakferry Games Inc. does not collect, store, sell, share or transmit personal data from anyone who plays Foldyx. This page is the game-specific policy; the studio-wide policy is at oakferry.com/privacy.

01What the game collects

Nothing about you. Foldyx has no account, no login, no advertising identifier, no third-party software development kit and no server of its own.

Your solved count, your streak, your journey level, your settings and whether you have bought Foldyx Unlimited are written to your device's local storage. They never leave the device. Deleting the app erases them; the purchase itself is restorable through Apple, because Apple holds that record, not us.

02On-device counters

Foldyx keeps simple usage counts — how many puzzles you have solved, how often you beat par — so it can show you your own statistics. These are plain numbers in local storage. They are not sent anywhere, there is no analytics service behind them, and no identifier is attached to them.

You can see them, erase them, or switch them off entirely in Settings. Switching them off also erases what has already been counted.

03The purchase

Foldyx offers one optional non-consumable in-app purchase, Foldyx Unlimited, which removes the one-hint-per-puzzle limit. It is handled entirely by Apple's App Store under Apple's own terms. We never receive, see or store your payment details, your card, or your Apple Account identity.

Your entitlement is verified cryptographically by StoreKit and cached on your device so the game works offline. If Apple refunds or revokes the purchase, the unlock is withdrawn automatically.

04Network access

Foldyx makes no network requests during play. Every puzzle is generated on your device from a date-derived seed, which is why the daily puzzle is identical worldwide without a server handing it out. The only network traffic the app can cause is Apple's own, when you open the purchase sheet. The game plays identically in airplane mode.

05Children

Foldyx collects no personal information from anyone, including children. There is no advertising network and no chat. The single purchase is protected by Apple's own parental controls, like any App Store purchase.

06If you email us

When you write to us for support we necessarily receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use it only to reply, and keep correspondence no longer than we need to resolve the matter. We never add anyone to a mailing list and never pass correspondence to a third party.

07Your rights

Data protection law gives you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict and port personal data we hold about you. In our case there is generally nothing to exercise them against, because we hold nothing — the exception is any email you have sent us.

To make a request, email the address below. If you are in the UK or the EU and are unsatisfied with our response, you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

08Changes to this policy

If the game ever changes what it does — for example by adding a feature that genuinely requires data — we will update this page and change the effective date above before that version ships. We will not begin collecting data quietly under an old policy.
