Legal · Equila privacy

Equila collects nothing about you. Its one purchase is handled entirely by Apple.

Equila is a balance puzzle with no accounts, no advertising and no analytics. It offers a single consumable purchase, which Apple processes - we never see your payment details.

Effective 8 August 2026 Balance the beam.

Oakferry Games Inc. does not collect, store, sell, share or transmit personal data from anyone who plays Equila. This page is the game-specific policy; the studio-wide policy is at oakferry.com/privacy.

01What the game collects

Nothing about you. Equila has no account, no login, no advertising identifier, no analytics and no third-party software development kit.

Your remaining hint count is stored on your own device so it survives relaunch. Puzzles are generated fresh each round and are not saved. Nothing leaves the device.

02The purchase

Equila offers one consumable in-app purchase, a Hint Pack that adds ten hints. It is handled entirely by Apple's App Store under Apple's own terms. We never receive, see or store your payment details. A Restore Purchases control in the app re-syncs entitlements from Apple.

03Network access

Equila makes no network requests of its own. The only connections are those Apple performs for App Store purchases.

04Children

Equila collects no personal information from anyone, and therefore none from children. There is no advertising and no chat.

05If you email us

When you write to us for support we necessarily receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use it only to reply, and keep correspondence no longer than we need to resolve the matter. We never add anyone to a mailing list and never pass correspondence to a third party.

06Your rights

Data protection law gives you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict and port personal data we hold about you. In our case there is generally nothing to exercise them against, because we hold nothing — the exception is any email you have sent us.

To make a request, email the address below. If you are in the UK or the EU and are unsatisfied with our response, you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

07Changes to this policy

If the game ever changes what it does — for example by adding a feature that genuinely requires data — we will update this page and change the effective date above before that version ships. We will not begin collecting data quietly under an old policy.
